Opal Engagement Ring
This ring is made from cherry wood and black-hearted sassafras veneers softened and wrapped around to form a ring. This gives the ring two layers of different coloured wood - symbolising a union of two! Inlaid around the ring is crushed opals and lined with silver wire. It is polished to perfection and easy to adjust the size with a little sandpaper and polish. I actually proposed to my wife with this very ring.

This gorgeous box is made from an olive burl I found on a walk in the scrub. This simple box has a magnetic lid and a is polished to a glossy finish. The swirls in the burl give a beautiful character to the piece.
